Join us as we celebrate the 36th Anniversary of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF). Our upcoming October 29, 2011 Washington Gala promises to be the best in the history of our organization.

If you were with us last year you joined some notable friends, including Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Justice Samuel Alito, Jr., Giuliana DePandi Rancic, Danny DeVito, Linda Fiorentino, Annabella Sciorra, just to name a few.

Among some of the past honorees and invited guests are Martin Scorsese, Tim McGraw, Robert De Niro, Lee Iacocca, Giorgio Armani, Al Pacino, Andrea Bocelli, Nicolas Cage, Tony Bennett, Alan Alda, Joe Montana, John Travolta, Sophia Loren and Roberto Benigni. Traditionally, the President of the United States is also our special guest at this event. We have extended an invitation to President Barack Obama, who has appointed several prominent Italian Americans to high-level posts in his administration.

As you know, the NIAF Washington Gala is part of a two-day convention (October 28-29) in the nation’s capital that includes other special receptions, entertainment and seminars. If you were with us last year, you were treated to our Expo Italia trade show. The Expo will be back again this year as well as our first-class entertainment, which has featured great acts such as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

Your participation guarantees that NIAF will continue to serve as a unified voice for the Italian American community. Our mission is dedicated to preserving and promoting the heritage and culture of Italy and Americans of Italian descent while offering educational and youth programs including scholarships, grants, heritage travel and mentoring to prepare individuals to assume their roles as future leaders.

Your early registration for NIAF’s October Gala will ensure your attendance at one of the premier annual events in the nation. If your plans change, you may cancel your reservation up to 10 days prior to the dinner with a full refund.

If you have never attended the gala or have missed attending in recent years, 2011 is a year you will not want to miss. Please complete and return the below reservation card with the envelope provided along with your check or credit card number (VISA, MasterCard or American Express).

We look forward to seeing you in October.

Please note that individual tickets and tables are scaled from $400 to $2,500 based on location. These seats are proportionally discounted for early registrants (prior to July 1).

Check out this year’s list of honorees: Hon. Capri Cafaro, Ohio State Senator; Dion DiMucci, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer; Hon. Frank J. Guarini, Former Member of Congress; Frank G. Mancuso Sr., Former Chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studio; Emma Marcegaglia, President of Confindustria; Paolo Scudieri, CEO of Adler Plastic S.p.A.; and Hon.
