San Miniato is famous for it tower, on the summit of the hill which dominates the Valdarno.  It was built in the 1200's, and rebuilt in the 1950's.

This part of Italy produces about 25% of the country’s white truffles. During the last three weekends in November, the city will proudly display this fact with the annual white truffle festival.

Also available - you can also sample wine, cheese, salami, olive oil, grappa and much more.

Not a good place to start your diet! But you can walk through the town and enjoy the Autumn, Italian-style.
