Florence Marathon

How can it not be any better than running through the streets of Florence with all of its famous art and history?  You will run by famous museums, monuments, squares, bridges, etc.

The marathon starts out at Piazzale Michelangelo and finishes at Piazza Santa Croce.  In between you will run by the famous Ponte Vecchio (see picture below), the Duomo, Fortezza da Basso, Parco delle Caschine and more.

After the marathon there will be parties and celebrations.

Why not stay in Florence a few days after the race to enjoy your accomplishment in one of the greatest cities in the world!
