Sacred Music Festival in Rome

This Festival of Sacred Music, is truly a unique experience that takes place in the Papal Basilicas or Rome during the Autumn season.  The Vienna Philharmonic will be the orchestra in residence for this year.

The reason they do this event is the increase the awareness of the public of the institutional activities of the Fondazione Pro Musica e Arte Sacra.  They raise funds for the restoration of artifacts (religious) and buildings.

The Festival Internazionale di Musica Sacra is central to its benevolent activities.

Since it started in 2002 the Festival has been a success, winning the accolades of the public and critics by proposing the spiritually enlightening combination between world-class performances and beautiful sacred venues.

Performances will take place at a number of basilicas located in the eternal city of Rome.
