A very simple recipe for Sicilian wedding cookies.
You will need:
2 cups butter 1 ½ tsp water 2 cups flour 4 tbsp. confectioners sugar 2 tsp. of vanilla 1 cup pecans, chopped
Cream butter and sugar. Add all other ingredients. Roll into small balls (a little larger than marbles) and place on non-greased cookie sheet. Chill for 1 hour. Bake 375 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm and again when cool. Yield 50 cookies.
