Naples, the magnificent port city of Italy has many options to get around by boat, hydrofoil, etc. The city of Naples actually has 2 main ports (one of which is one of the largest ports in Italy behind Genoa and Livorno) and some smaller ones.
Getting around Naples and vicinity by ferry or hydrofoil (quicker, more expensive) Ferry and hydrofoil services leave from either Molo Beverello, Mergellina, Pozzuoli or Calata Porta. There are also ports in Pozzuoli, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Salerno, along with the islands like Capri. Of course, you can also hire a private boat, then your options are unlimited.
Boats heading to the Island of Capri from Naples depart from Molo Beverello and Calata Porta di Massa.
Naples to Capri Ferry: 80 minutes Hydrofoil: 40 minutes

The top 3 Italian recording artists from an international standpoint (according to a game show recently aired on RAI television) are:
Laura Pausini
Andrea Boccelli
Eros Ramazzotti
Many may be surprised at the number one selection, but it is not very surprising, as Laura Pausini has achieved international stardom after debuting at the 43rd Annual Sanremo Music Festival in 1993. She has many albums in Spanish, and even Portuguese and French. Below is a video of one of her most famous songs.
If you plan on driving in Italy, you should try to become accustomed to as many of the street signs as possible. Many of them are universal, but there are some that are peculiar.
In Italy you will often come across road signs like this one to the right with a slash through the picture (or sometimes the name of a city).
This is to indicate that you are leaving the highway, or approaching the end of the highway.
In the case of a city, you might see a slash through "Rome", which would indicate that you are leaving the city of Rome.
